This is an extraordinarily good little pump. There are two problems though. It pulls 14 amps. If you want to use it in standard DC utilitys, a ten amp max is extra suitable. To use this in an automated/switched atmosphere, I needed to discover a unique relay to use. Second, the impellers burn out quick if this pump runs dry. There appears to be no easy method to order extra impellers and that's a pain.

Use this pump and a one hundred fifty gallon water tank on the again of a John Deere Gator for watering bushes on my property. I measured a psi of about 18-20, not a lot of force however still can use it with a sprayer nozzel wand. It works for what I want, hooks up with clips to a deepcycle 12v battery.

I first tried three 12V. pumps from harbor freight that have been similar to the wayne pump. I do not buy harbor freight stuff any further, guarantee for not ! Can't have the cash for the gas to drive from facet to aspect to come back stuff ! Anyhow, I've used this pump now for approxmently 1 month, about every third day, So dragon woman can water her strawberries from the pond. Seems to work smartly lots of force, I'm pulling about eight feet of head, and pumping approxmently a hundred ft. Doesnt even get heat as it has a fan cooling from the rear. It additionally came with a spare impeller and extra brushes, good touch I thought.
