I used this to exchange a Goldline valve actuator (GVA-24) on my pool device (the spa return valve). Frankly, I'm very upset within the Goldline edition...lasted about 3 12 monthss, however in my opinion these should remaining MUCH longer.
I did the set up myself. Not too tough. Just changed the unit via unscrewing the outdated one, shedding this one on (more or less), after which connecting it to my Hayward Aqua Logic control unit.
However, that's once I had a subject. The Aqua Logic unit reported an error (bad connection or something) after I took it back out of provider mode. So I put it back in carrier mode, rechecked my connections, and tried once extra. Same drawback. Then I tried with out it linked. No error. I figured, nice I got a foul unit.
Then I connected my old unit and took it out of service mode, no error. Without going into service mode, I changeed the connection to this unit, and no downside. So a manners it has been working high quality. I wish to preserve my old unit simply in case this occurs again, however maintaining my fingers crossed.
The different downside with this unit is that it is slower than the original unit. I be conscious of because I truly have every other Goldline actuator (also a replacement of the unique) that swapes over on the related time I change between pool and spa. The Goldline finishes the 180-degree swap about 10 2nds sooner.
