This Red Lion pump works nice. I sit down it on my dock and use it to pump water from a lake, up about 10 vertical ft to water my vegetation the use of a 50' backyard hose(no regular electricity nearby). Pumps like a champ, however because the instructions give an evidence for, don't run it for more than quarter-hour at a time because the motor does get hot. Don't wanna burn it out, and don't suppose that pumping cool water lend a hands keep the pump cool. A nice value and very well constructed.
