This timer is usually used to keep watch over 230V swimming pool filter pumps. It operates a single on/off cycle right through a 24-hour period, which is adjustable. Purchasing an extra time tripper set will add some different on/off cycle. The timer motor requires between 208 and 277 volts for operation and switches each poles (hot wires). My original timer at final expired after more than three0 12 monthss of use, so I bought this replacement from Amazon, which used to be cheaper than buying one from my local electrical distributor.
Fortunately, this new mechanism matchs and snaps right into the previous Intermatic housing. For folks who simply want to replace the practical parts, this very much simplifies the installation. Amazon's value for your entire timer assembly including the metal housing used to be not up to others charge for simply the mechanism itsef.
It used to be shipped immediately, arrived undamaged and at a good price.

There are two voltage rated versions used on pool equipment. The most popular is the 220 volt, and 110 volt is much less fashionable. Most pool equipment is on a 220 volt smasher. Check your sub panel or major breaker panel to see if the timer is hooked up to a double damageer (240Volt) or a single smasher (120 volt). The timers will not be interchangeable so if you need to exchange yours, get the appropriate volt/amp ranking.
These timers seem to remaining perpetually. The first 3 pictured listed right here are over twenty 12 monthss outdated. I am surprised when one damages down. A very neatly built product.

Used the timer for a changement phase in a pool keep watch over cabinet. Fit and worked just positive.
